I’m not what you would call an environmentalist by any stretch of the imagination, but I do love the color green. Does that count? Man, I think I just heard Al Gore wince because of that last sentence.

I love the idea of using sheets to create a tented room. It would feel like you were always in a fort while covering up chugly ceilings. It wouldn’t hurt to add the turquoise doors too.

Saw a cool wall, had my Polaroid with me, stopped and took pictures. I know I’m no Jen Gotch, but I like how they turned out.
Text message from my sister last night: “Mamma Mia is so cheesy and embarrassing. You will love it!” I think she knows me a little too well.
Ohhhh, ahhhhh. This party garland how-to from the Purl Bee is dovey di lovely.

One of the games Ryan and I like to play is “who can embarrass the other person more while we’re in public.” I like to raise the roof, say ‘da bomb and other living in the 90s sorts of things. Why am I talking about this when there’s a pic of delish dessert? Because they’re called chocolate-peanut butter bombes and they look so good I thought my sister’s would want the recipe. Sorry, I’m still suffering from lack of sleep.

This sign is currently hanging on my wall and kind of bites me in butt everyday when I start to complain about the smell that was emoting from the person sitting next to me on the bus.

Feeling good.
(Going on v-cay for the rest of the week, see you Monday!)

I took a trip to good ole’ Old Navy on Saturday and wanted to try on the whole store. They have upped their cuteness factor several notches. And the good news is, it’s still cheap. I ended up buying a dress that when I put it on this morning I did a little dance in front of the mirror and sang a little song I made up that goes something like this, “I’m so cute. I’m so cute. Look at me, I’m so cute.” I couldn’t find it online or I would show you. Maybe I’ll take a picture of me in all my vainess but probably not because that requires too much effort.
My sister is gearing up for the Olympics. I have to applaud her valiant Olympic fan efforts and only wish I could be with her during the fist pumping, tear filled moments of the games. Not only does she have the flags and the mural, she also has a collection of vintage Olympic posters. So my hat’s off to you Nicole, you make Bella Caroli proud.
