Maybe it’s just because I know these two handsome fellas, but I really like how this polaroid turned out.

This is my reaction when I first read this list- “Agreed. Yes. Love it. Me too! Exactly. Mmmmhmmm.” I’m so happy Jackie decided to participate because not only is her list tops, she has a great blog too.
1. Lollia Wish No. 22 Candle- the most heavenly scent in the world and in the prettiest glass container.
2. Black Sweaters-You can never go wrong with a black sweater!
3. Calendars- I am obsessed with calendars. I really don’t know why. I have one in practically every room. Currently loving all the wonderful desk calendar options on etsy.
4. Peacocks- Just smitten with these lovely birds.
5. White Pottery- I have quite the collection going. I also just love white in general. It’s definitely my favorite color
6. The Eiffel Tower- No, I have never been to Paris, but a girl can dream. The image evokes such a magical, dramatic, romantic feeling.
7. Sewing- I’m not the best at it yet, but I have high hopes!
8. ‘While I Was Gone’ by Sue Miller-A book I enjoyed so much, I would actually like to re-read it if I had the time.
9. Crayons- Coloring with my daughter is so relaxing.
10. Dahlias- A group of these lovely flowers on my kitchen table every day would make me very happy.
Oh, and I like this family photo display too.
Today’s list comes from another Rachel that I’ve never met but I know we would be friends in a heartbeat. How can I tell you ask? Just look at this list. She’s a girl with good taste. Check out more of Rachel’s style on her blog.
1. I love everything Bob Dylan, but Another Side of Bob Dylan is my absolute fave. If I could pick a soundtrack for my life, this would be it.
2. Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me. The best program on public radio and the best part of my Saturday morning.
3.Succulents. I love to bring in my little green/gray chicks and tuck them in terrariums, pretty little bowls, and terracotta pots.
4. Shep Salon + Bumble and Bumble Brilliantine. Every time I leave Shep Salon I always feel interesting and super hot, which has become increasingly important as I’m pretty sure that I traded my hotness for breastfeeding straight across the board. Their stylists are incredibly talented, kind, and give killer hair cuts. My stylist, Meredith, was the first person to recommend Brilliantine. What a brilliant product. You can even go to bed with your hair soaking wet,use a little of this miracle cream the next morning and you will leave the house looking hot. Super hot.
5. Garlands + Bunting. Nothing fills my heart with more joy than a garland swooping across my living room. I have three swooping right now.
6. Ray Bradbury’s Dandelion Wine. Every year, when winter feels like it’s holding on just a little too long, I find this book and it makes even the dreariest days golden.
7. Haagen Dazs Hawaiian Lehua Honey and Sweet Cream Ice Cream. Perfect with a seasonal fruit tart…..yum.
8. Nudes. I have a thing for nudie art…..my husband thinks I’m a little pervy, but I just love the shape of the human body.
9. Yoga. Stretching + deep breathing = my kind of exercise. (editor’s note: how adorable is that image of the baby doing yoga!?)
10. French Teatowels. Absolutely beautiful.
I just loved all of Rita Konig’s (Domino blogger) decorating tips that were posted over on Frolic last week. Go check them out, you won’t be disappointed.
I’m also so excited about Domino’s new feature, My Deco File. I started this blog to stash all of my finds and design inspiration but I can’t post everything I love. I found myself having tons of pics saved to my hard drive and nothing to do with them. Enter stage right: My Deco File, the perfect place to store all of your images. This is starting to sound like a commercial plug but I can guarantee you I’m not getting paid for this. I’m going to upload photos today and do the happy dance.

Today’s list comes from somebody I actually know, Katie. I met Katie about a year ago just chumming out in Denver while our husbands attend incredibly expensive schools. Katie is one of the most domestic women I know. She can literally whip up a dress in 2 hours and still have time to make a 5 course meal. So some of her faves will come as no surprise. I especially like #6. Enjoy.
1. My Lululemon Be Still pants that I wear all the time
2. Martha Stewart Living Magazine
3. Asics shoes (I need a new pair here soon and am so excited about picking out some runners)
4. Ikea duvet covers
5. Cafe style curtains. And not just in the window, in place of cabinet doors too!
6. Breakfast at a restaurant.
7. Fabric, sewing patterns, and a sewing machine (and a serger if available).
8. Nike + iPod
9. Old vintage books from my Gramma that are pro-feminism in a 1930′s-40′s way.
10. Denver. And all the good that comes with it like friends, converted family, Crate and Barrel, Anthropologie….
Right now my heart still hurts from the events that transpired in the women’s uneven bars. So to make us all feel better, let’s talk about a few athletes that we just love.
Thank you Jason Lezak for swimming the best race of your life when it all really counted. You put the French to shame.
Thank you Dara for just being so darn nice and gracious even when you barely missed the gold.
Thank you Jennifer Stuczynski for only doing the pole vault for 4 years and winning a silver medal. Maybe I do have hope of becoming an Olympic athlete.
Thank you Leszek Blanik for pulling out a picture of your son when you won the gold medal and kissing it.
And thank you Cris Collinsworth for being so darn likeable. When I was 12 I had a crush on Stone Phillips. My newscaster crush has now transferred to Cris Collinsworth. I think it might just be because I want free access to the best Olympic events.

Hooray for lists! This week is going to be chock full of them. I start doing an embarrassing little dance when I see new lists in my inbox so keep them coming.
First up is Rachel’s fave list. Although I was barely introduced to Rachel and her blog Heart of Light, I’m already totally crushing. Besides the things on this list, she loves baking and Project Runway so I’m pretty sure we’re new BFFs. Rachel- feel free to send me one of your delish baked items any time. I love her picks, I hope you do too-
1. Czech beer – specifically Staropramen Cerny, super dark and delicious
2. White coats (from J. Crew)
3. Good cheese
4. Expensive tea (Harney and Sons)
5. Becky Kelso’s rings (from here)
6. Whitney Smith’s pottery (Whitney Smith)
7. Benetint – my longest lasting make up love affair (Sephora)
8. Wide legged pants (from Anthro)
9. Fresh Sugar Lychee Shower Gel (available here)
10. Pre-loved books

Abbey put together a mondo list of 28 gallery wall inspiration pics. The above ones are my favorite but the whole lot are really just fantastic.

I don’t think the gymnastic’s judges got the memo that when you totally biff your landing on the vault, that you’re not supposed to get a high score and medal. I’m pretty sure they learned how to judge by watching the dance contest at the Max where Lisa and Screech won because they got the most applause.
Warning: DO NOT go to nbcolympics.com if you’re planning on watching the Olympics tonight. Major spoiler alert!
