Designers for (insert name here) are my fave

March 23, 2009

Martha Stewart for Macys

Allen Schwartz for JCPenney

Felix Ray for Target

Lela Rose for Payless

I heart Ronson for JCPenney

Orla Keily for Target

Vera Wang for Kohls

Target really launched the guest designer trend. Although I have the urge to yell copycats! when I hear of another store doing it, some of these lines are too hard to resist.

Note to self: start a worldwide trend so I can be as cool as Target.
Ideas so far: Girl Scout cookies available all year round, a scooter that can also become a jet pack, sweats as acceptable work wear

Love the Lela Rose stuff, have a pair from last year and they held up surprisingly well!

You’re onto something with the girl scout thing — I made those samoa bars you posted two weekends in a row!!!

I adore that Felix Rey bag! But it makes me want to sew my own :) I’ve been on a crafty streak lately.

Also, I’m totally down for the Girl Scout cookies. Seriously, what’s a girl to do when she’s eaten them all?!

Mel, why DON’T they sell girlscout cookies all year long. I was asking someone that the other day. You would think the GS would want to,so they could earn extra money. I don’t get it.
Also, those payless shoes are super cute! Fred Meyer usually has really cute heels too.

I’m with you on the sweats-to-work thing. I adore comfy pants.

Also, I have an unhealthy addiction to Target. I partially blame the designers.
