These painting techniques from Martha are way cooler than sponge painting. And I’m pretty sure they won’t be leaving a bitter taste of the bad fads of the 90s in your mouth.

Love these techniques! I am moving into my first-ever house with some girlfriends next year and this is giving me some great ideas for decorating and updating some old chairs-thanks Melanie!

Sponge painting is the opposite of my fave — but herringbone is awesome!!!

For the record, we CAN handle so much Martha ;)

oh man, remember how my parents had really bad sponge painted walls…. it was so bad. I have tried a few of Martha’s easy projects… and they are not so easy. and i consider myself crafty.
