I love the jar too! I actually made a bunch of paper cranes last winter (while watching seasons of Northern Exposure on dvd, lol!). They were hanging as a garland for a long time, but they are getting dusty and I've been looking for a new use for them! I found it very relaxing to fold them, and have a ton more paper

I love paper cranes. there was a project that a photographer did a couple of years ago where she sent anyone who wanted to participate a paper crane and the person had to take a photo of the crane and then send it on to someone else. it was the coolest thing. she compiled a book of all the images (I think)…so peaceful and simple.

I love paper cranes. One Christmas I made paper crane place markers from Readymade Magazine. The cranes were made out of festive wrapping paper and hanging from twigs in tiny glass bottles. They're not hard to master after a few tries.
