I came across this charming bike store this weekend and had to make an illegal u-turn just to capture a polaroid. The same day I came across this charming letterpress print. I think they were made for each other.

PS I’m down to my two last rolls of film. If anyone wants to donate to the Melanie doesn’t have funds to pay for overpriced Polaroid film fund, I’d appreciate.

Summer parties are my fave

My friend Natalia and I are both itching to throw a summer party. I’ve nominated myself as her party planning committee co-chair since she has the space to invite lots of chums and she always has the very best ideas and she always executes them brilliantly. So far we’ve been thinking we need to have an un-birthday party, a brunch picnic, a photobooth extravaganza and a backyard movie night. I’m thinking to make the movie night complete we could use director’s clipboards for invites and have a concession booth of real popcorn, popcorn cupcakes, soda and big boxes of candy.

I kind of feel like the editor of Better Homes and Gardens by saying this, but I really want a sunroom. And a garden. And a picnic table. And let’s just add a backyard on top of all that.
