– an illustration of something you saw that day (see more at Jill’s blog)

On our stop at the chicken farm, my sister and I were able to capture some photos of some hand stitched pieces from my great grandmother. This quilt is my absolute favorite. Oh, and I also got a peek at my grandma’s collection of polaroids and saw two cameras she had from the 1970s. I guess the love runs in the family.
I just realized this spotted and hearted is focused on goods I want to buy. Anybody want to click on the Google ad to help with funds? Just kidding because I think that last sentence was illegal.
And Maggie’s organizing a craft swap that I’m looking forward to participating in!
Today high fives are in order because me and my very Roman profile are featured on The Lovely List. Come say chello and tell Brandy what a fabulous job she’s doing. You’re sure to meet some new friends and you have a chance to win a pretty pink cruiser. Game on.
Right now I’m feeling inspired by simple tabletops adorned with patterned fabric napkins. I guess the paper ones that say home sweet home on them aren’t really doing it for me anymore. If I feel adventurous after my vacation recovery (it’s kind of going slow) I might attempt to make my own.
Well yes, yes I do think I deserve to buy this bag for myself since Ryan started his last year of law school today. Thank you for asking.

Friends, I’m exhausted. I got nearly twelve hours of sleep last night and I feel like I need a nap. Vacations do that to you. The above space looks just perfect right now. More to come later.
Remember when I was like, “I’m going on vacation so I’m taking a break, I’m so cool, blah blah,” and now I’m posting? Well I could not not post about this. The lovely (really the best description for her) Lynne has opened a shop of paper goods that have been just perfectly edited. I was excited to see some of my faves from Suann and I of course adore these polaroid postcards. Congrats Lynne!
