I’d like to thank a couple people here:
1. People who run wedding blogs and provide endless party inspiration
2. Friends who have babies so I can use this inspiration to throw them a shower
I love a good party.
I’ve been in denial that summer is over. It just went by a little too fast for my liking. But then yesterday I was at the park and there was a perfect fall crispness in the air and a glimmer of changing leaves. And then I remembered that I love this season. So fall, congratulations, you can be my fave.
And Abby, your autumn poster is maybe the loveliest photo pairing I’ve ever seen.
I’ve always had a small obsession with red doors (really, they make every house look cuter) but now I’m leaning towards blue ones. It’s going to be a tough decision when I have my own front door to deal with.
Ryan and I play this game when we get the JCrew catalog – we look through it, pick out our favorite outfit and then guess what the other one picked out. Don’t you just want to hang out with us? Our lives are beyond exciting.
About a month ago my sister sealed her status as the coolest mom on the block when she threw a carnival in her backyard. -Random movie quote insertion: “I’m not like those normal moms. I’m a cool mom.” – Everybody in the neighborhood was invited. She said she lost count at 130 people.
The last club I belonged to met in the corner of a storage room next to the insulation that looked like cotton candy and the water heater. It was formed by my older sister so I was just a pity member and someone that could fetch candy from the gas station. I think it’s time to upgrade to something more adult. Clubs I would like to belong to:
Yesterday I substitute taught a class and there was a kid with the name SirThomas. No lie.
Sweet Amy interviewed me and today she posted my thrilling answers. I like the fact that someone has a crush on me. I feel like I’m in middle school all over again. I mean college, it took me a while to get out of that awkward stage.
