A backyard carnival is my fave

About a month ago my sister sealed her status as the coolest mom on the block when she threw a carnival in her backyard. -Random movie quote insertion: “I’m not like those normal moms. I’m a cool mom.” – Everybody in the neighborhood was invited. She said she lost count at 130 people.

and she even rented a dunk tank. I kid you not. Next year I’m expecting a ferris wheel. And maybe a washed up band like Smash Mouth.

    I had a baby shower for a friend last night complete with darling bunting. Oh and lots of twinkling lights… Hooray for weather which permits meaning it was less than 1000 deg outside!
