A New Years Eve party idea is my fave
This year my sisters and I have resolved to make our New Years Eve fun since it's been a complete disappointment in the past. I'm thinking that a display of balloons filled with confetti and prizes that are popped at midnight will be essential.

oh yes! if you do this, i want to know how you get all that stuff inside a balloon.
Such a great idea and love the pic.
What a great idea!! I used confetti once and I was finding it in my carpet and couch cushions for years later! But it was still fun.
Ok - that's freakin' brilliant. Love it!
Love it! I agree new years eve is too much pressure to have fun
I love that picture! So cute!

Adorable idea - and lots of fun! It's like being at a fair or on a boardwalk!
This is PERFECT for the holiday party I'm planning for work. Thanks! :)
we had a mac-n-cheese tasting one year! :)
new years eve definetly used to be a party (until kids - don't get me wrong love my kids...just...well you get it).
balloons are always a fave...having them filled with little bits of confetti and prizes is such a good idea. I think I'm going to have to do this. AWESOME!
We always have a terrible new year! We were talking last night about how we can't remember what we did for 2009 but as Ryan put it, "It probably sucked anyway". Seriously, always a let-down.
I'm not even trying this year, but good luck to you! This sounds fun.
Excellent idea to add some pizzaz to New Years Eve. Don't sweat the past disappointments... It is an overrated holiday in my opinion!
I'm throwing a NYE party this year, and am going to steal this wonderful idea!
That sounds like the most fun party ever!! One year I went to my best friend's house for a teeny tiny party. It snowed so we kept all the beer right in the snow outside the door!
Fun idea. :)
Cool idea...except for all the little holes you'd have to patch after!
Sue
Yay! Nothing beats a good NYE party!
That would be soooo fun! I'm going to remember that idea too!!
remember when we made punch and then spilled it all over while we were trying to make a toast... and it was a do-over new year's eve... that was a funny night. I hope that this year you have a good one!
Oh I hear you! I hate the pressure of having a good time just because it is the last night of the year!
Good friends of mine are having their wedding new years eve so I'm super excited - if you can't have fun at a beautiful wedding I don't know when you can! xx
Sounds like a brilliant idea - and if I didn't have a phobia of balloons (madness I know!) then I would be stealing the idea too. xx
that would be so cute! great idea!
fantastic idea!
We'll be having a quiet evening in with friends on New Year's Eve and then going to a big New Years Day lunch extravaganza.
Oh my gosh....I LOVE this idea!!
Can't wait to read about all the New Year's Eve fun you have with your sisters!
that sounds like a wonderfffffful idea :)
xxxxo
Balloons, confetti and bubbly...My kinda soiree!
What an awesome idea! I always do something boring. This year, I want to have a fun party. And I'm thinking those balloons would be great. :)
I love this idea!
