Ryan tried two pieces of pie on Thanksgiving day, pumpkin and some berry rhubarb concoction. When I looked at his plate I thought, "Really? With all those choices, that's the best you can do?" Then I shimmied my way back to the kitchen to get my eighth piece of anything chocolate based.

love every single one of these :p
That chandelier is amazing!
That sleeping nook is calling my name.
you find the BEST stuff!
what great finds, the chandelier, the flower garlands...
mobiles make me insanely happy. that crane was is so pretty.
That chandelier/mobile is INCREDIBLE! I need to learn how to make those little birds so I can make one for over our next baby's crib! Oh, and I love the idea for the hand towels also. Ours always end up balled up on the counter. throwing a grommet in the corner and hanging them up on the wall would be a great fix!
I just love that flower garland, its so beautiful. I also love love your sleeping nooks that you choose! This one in particular and I love the bedding too!
I want some s'more love! that is so cute!
I love the recycled wood use in the sleeping nook! And I'm going to be making myself one of those flower garlands asap.
ah, yes, you have the same approach to pie as i do. very good. i usually eat the eight pieces and then do the same little dance of happiness that the pretty flower garland you found inspires.
and my poor husband "forgot" to eat any pie on friday. what??!
hi melanie! thank you so much for the sweet words and the links over. :) xo
My Ryan won't eat pumpkin pie. Oh well, more for me! It's my favorite and I'm quite loyal.
These are great finds. I love this version of the smores kit (saw another one on Twig and Thistle that was cute too). A cute way to present a relatively simple gift!
I love that reading nook!
I loooove the imagery as you "shimmied your way back to the kitchen." :] S'more love? WANT!
that sleeping nook is the sweetest.
(we dress similarly, you say? if that means you're a nerd, too, you're a lucky girl. we nerds are rare and beautiful things.)
I'm ready to pack my bags and go live in that delicious looking house.
I saw that flower garland on Once Wed and have been dying to make it! This might be my favorite sleeping nook yet!
Love the flower garland and the chandelier. I'm going to try to make both in the coming year (new years resolution!).
I always love to see what you are going to show us next!

Those boxes from 100 Layer Cake would be perfect for my cookie party! Must go craft now...
That chandelier is amazing! And I love the little pouches of s'more love. So cute...
oh yeah, I most decidedly did not stop until I had "tasted" every single one of the 5 pies at our Thanksgiving. And I almost split a cupcake with someone, but abstained. And then I had another piece of pie 2 hours later.
Loving all the s'more action that's been floating around lately! Makes me want to go on a wintry camping trip.
I'm making those flower garlands (minus the garland part? just the flowers, then?) for my sister's wedding coming up in March. To throw on the bride & groom instead of confetti/rice.
thank you so much for the comment - the show is in serbia on the 14th! very soon...and there still so much to do!!
you always seem to find the most magical things. i love everything in this post!
Even when faced with 41 pies, I think I would still choose pumpkin above all else. But then I, too, would go back for eleven slivers of anything chocolate-y.
Just found your site-- it's neat! Puts a smile on my face every day. I love the sleeping nooks; they were a particular dream of mine when I was a kid.
that nook looks soo cozy
