Wouldn’t it be fun to have a little French party? You could invite your friends with a handwritten note on the back of these Paris cards by Darling Clementine making sure to let them know to wear a striped shirt. Then you could serve crepe pouches (don’t you love?) and have a cheese spread as pretty as this one from Sunday Suppers. The soundtrack could be Carla Bruni. My only fear of throwing this party is that Ryan would request to reenact and sing every song from the musical Les Mis. I guess I could handle it if he let me be Eponine.

    One of my favorite CDs chock full of the greatest French music is "Cafe De Flore: Rendez-Vous a Saint-Germain-des-Pres." I've had it for years and it is amazing! You can find it on Amazon.com.
