I promise to stop talking about the Olympics next week but until then, The Highfliers a photo essay by Ryan McGinley is helping me make it through three straight nights of ice dancing.
Lucky, I haven't seen ski jumping yet! I did manage to watch the Alpine skiing and my fave - figure skating! So sad they're almost over, I could watch the Olympics year round.
Dont stop talking about the olympics! :D It is soo much fun. I almost had a heart attach watching Petter Northug and Øystein Pettersen win the Gold medal yesterday. Oh man how fun these games are. :)
I love watching the highfliers too - extremely impressive! I wonder how it's like to practice when you arent really that good. Must be a lot of falling on the head. :P

Admission: I took the night off last night and watched Arrested Development dvds. I needed a breather before tonight's ladies short program!!! But these pictures are making me regret that decision :)
i love that first picture! and yes, I love love love watching all the jumping events... they are so amazing... i do not even care if their landing is a little ruff!
and i also think that ice dancing is lame... they do not even do any fancy tricks!
haha, I actually kind of liked the ice dancing. yes, most of the couples were awfully boring, but the top teams were pretty exciting to watch! and I was SO glad that Canada took home the gold! the USA pair was amazing too (and the two teams just happen to be best friends/training partners) but I simply liked the Canadians better :)
I do like these highfliers images though, to be sure.
