Phew. We have so much to discuss like how down comforter skirts do nothing for a woman’s figure but I’m still playing a little bit of catch up from a most jam packed weekend. So today I’ll just share some nooks of a different variety. And you thought I just like the sleeping kind didn’t you?
And today is a lucky one for Pieface. You’re the winner of the Shabby Apple dress giveaway! Jigga what what.

I love the Olympics. Like, I mean really love the Olympics. This year to really get into the spirit of things I’m joining all six of my sisters, my mom and ten nieces and nephews to have a major party. Then of course there will be Valentine’s Day, Chinese New Year and President’s Day. It will be magic.
Please share your fave Olympic moment with me. I feel like shedding a few happy tears.

The oh so sweet and talented Nan Lawson (found through Danni) drew this portrait of Ryan and me. It made for the best early Valentine’s Day present I’ve ever given. Looking at it brings out my pouty bottom lip.
And speaking of Ryan and me and the approaching love day, I gave lots of mushy details about our relationship over at Cole’s blog.
Things I wouldn’t mind for Valentine’s Day:
I’ve been a fan of Shabby Apple since they opened up shop a few years ago and they just keep getting better and better. I already own three of their dresses and I’m eyeing about three more that would find a cozy place in my closet. Just ask my twenty-five cardigans. Lucky for you the fab ladies of Shabby have offered one of my readers this pretty blue number that will carry you right into warmer weather.
To enter to win the 90 words per minute dress just leave a sweet and simple comment on this post by midnight Thursday, February 11th.
Ready…begin!
This Polaroid camera weighs 235 pounds and produces 20×24 inch instant photos. For real.
Have you ever seen something so magical (besides that one time you saw a unicorn)? I’m saving my pretty pennies for a portrait session at the 20×24 studio that houses the camera. Can you imagine anything better then a poster sized polaroid of your kids? By the time I save the money, kids will most likely be in the picture. No pun intended.

Wouldn’t these cute invites from Bread of Many be perfect for a little Valentine get together? Best of all, they’re free for download at Non Pareil Mag. I know, I know, I’m doing a dance too.
Thanks for the heads up Cyd.
If I’m debating whether I should buy a dress or not, pockets are a definite dealmaker. They just make everything comfier.
Instead of having a craft room, I want a party room. It would be like a classier Party City with loads of bunting, paper goods, stripey straws, invites, presents and pinatas. I think I’ll start with all of these from Pearl River.
One time in elementary school we had an assignment to list five things we would do if we were president of the United States. One of my five was to require that ice cream be just like the picture on the outside of the carton. Right now I’m dreaming of throwing a summer party (ah summer, I miss you) complete with some of that picturesque ice cream delivered via a cute truck. And yes, you’re all invited.
