I like the bold use of pattern in these rooms designed by Massucco Warner Miller. That gold/coral combo is kind of killer. And Massucco is fun to say.
Thanks Karen, BFF.
Speaking of Wes Anderson, this cool bunch threw a themed party complete with the hostess greeting the guests by asking them if they’d sign a petition to bring back Latin. Thank goodness for Max Fischer.

I posted that second photo on You Are My Fave Jr and it was reblogged with the caption, “When I’m older and successful and crap, this is what I want my office to look like.” My thoughts exactly.
Isn’t the grass green/turquoise combo your fave?
This giveaway is for moms or adoring aunts but it’s okay if you’re just a general fan of babies. That’s my title. Sarah designs and sells these nursery prints in her shop Sarah Knight Designs and has offered to give one of you two prints of your choice. Aren’t they fun?

Roar.
I briefly mentioned that Ryan has this dream of living on a farm. When he proposed this idea to me I quickly shot it down since I despise yard work (we had a big yard and a dad who raked the yard until the grass bled) and I base my happiness off my proximity to a Target. But things changed yesterday when I had a lovely chat with Lindsay and she gushed about a flower and vegetable farm near Boulder where they hold special events and they have things like deep basin sinks and fields to frolic through. I don’t know why I didn’t think of the genius of this all before. Ryan gets his land, our kids wear cowboy boots and I get to be the official Blodgett family farm event planner. Future planned.
I’m completely serious.

You know your blog is slightly random when you go from posting about a 1st birthday party to Wes Anderson in the matter of a couple of days.

I’m thrilled to share this party I designed today mostly because anything involving a baby this cute is sure to be a winner.

I made the hanging balls with the use of a beach ball, yarn and liquid laundry starch.

The favors were filled with watermelon Sour Patch Kids to match the pink and green color scheme and because they’re delicious.
I had so much fun crafting this party. I hope you enjoyed it.
