Over here at the Blodgett household we are very much on Team Mondo and not just because he’s a Denver resident and looks cute in shorts. We love his kicky mix of color and pattern. I’m hoping to knock on his door and request a custom chevron dress.
Whose team are you on this season?
Black and white. Stripes. Florals. They’re called classics for a reason.
Gemma is so rad. She just finished this mural for a shop in Oxford. I could never do this because my arms would get too tired. That, and I can’t draw.
Don’t you like the little guy with the camera and tote?
…especially if the host bakes me a cake and lets me use their fancy soap.
All week I’ll be posting some of my cream of the crop posts at Black Eiffel while Rachel cuddles with baby India.
Jena has crowned me with the title blogstar so if you see me today looking slightly smug, it’s all gone to my head.
Oh wait, that’s not all. I’m channeling my inner Liz Lemon and listing some dealbreakers at So About What I Said.
And if you just can’t get enough, you can check out my latest party from the bookshelf.
Five reasons I love author Amy Krouse Rosenthal:
1. Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life (excerpts found above)
2. She’s intentionally left copies of her book in random places like the grocery store freezer for people to find and keep
3. Darling children’s books, including one about a spooning family of spoons
4. She likes to make things
5. She wrote a book entitled The Same Phrase Describes my Marriage and My Breasts: Before the Kids, They Use to be Such a Cute Couple
These leather bracelets from Three Horses are so pretty. It’s hard for me to ever get tired of metallics since they go with everything. Or at least I wear them with everything. A metallic flat with your ill fitting flannel pajama pants?! Sure, why not?
Thanks Natalia.
If I was actually a designer (and not just someone who likes cool stuff) my home collection would basically be a replica of Ferm Living. But I guess you don’t have to be a designer to have a collection, just a wife of someone famous. Come on Ryan, get on that.
Yesterday I learned that I have the very best fan club. Thanks for the support friends.
Devoted readers, buddies, arch nemeses I don’t ask that much of you, do I? I mean besides putting up with my 30 Rock references and not kidnapping me for ransom, I haven’t asked too much. But today I need a little favor. I’m honored to be a participant in Vicky’s fall celebration challenge and today my design is up for the viewing. If you could please visit me over at City Cradle and comment on my design, I would much appreciate. *I might even consider giving you a windmill high five, like in Top Gun.
And make sure to visit City Cradle all week long to see the four other stellar entries.
*30 Rock reference of the day.
