I would have never guessed from looking at the outside of this apartment the modern contents of the interior. The walls of built-ins are magical. I kind of wish I liked cleaning enough to brave the white.

Do you ever have those little moments of pure happiness? They don’t usually last very long just a couple minutes or so but for a moment, you’re completely content.

Summer produces a lot of those moments for me. The other night Ryan and I went on our nightly walk and realized though the sun had gone down long ago, it was still 80 degrees outside. We were sweltering so we took a night swim in the corner pool (I’m not sure the legality of it all) and for a few minutes, everything was happy.

Thank you summer. I needed that.

I love the slight quirk of these collages from John Murphy. I think the elephant one is a must for a future nursery/office/any-room-I-can-claim-is-mine-to-decorate-so-Ryan-doesn’t-protest- that-the-print-is-too-girly. Who am I kidding? The whole house will be mine to decorate. No ugly man cave allowed.
