fall party week is my fave

November 14, 2011

This week will be dedicated to a cozy fall get together. Think sipping hot chocolate and plaid. Lots of plaid.

First up is the invitation, designed and made printable (for you and you and you) by the always awesome Amanda Jones. The combination of craft paper and plaid will have your guests hurling their axe and brushing up on their taxidermy skills in no time.

Yay! Thanks for these. So cute. Do you or Amanda have a suggestion for where to buy kraft paper that is cardstock-weight that fits through the printer nicely?

@brooke, yes! I bought my paper at my local xpedx in bulk. Best purchase I ever made. I use it for everything. 🙂

I spit apple cider back into my Stanley cup when I saw this because I’m DRINKING OUT OF THE SAME THERMOS. To say I love this is an understatement.

So adorable! My BFF and I were planning on having a modern Xmas movie night in a couple weeks (think Love Actually, Elf, etc.), we could totally use these as the invites! Because you know a hot chocolate buffet bar is in order. 🙂

I have read your blog regularly for several years now and somehow I missed your big announcement! Congratulations! Enjoy your pregnancy and that sweet baby once he/she graces this world. My daughter is almost eight months and I must say it has been an amazing experience so far. The love you have for your child is life changing and intense – like nothing you’ve ever felt before. I stare at my daughter and am overcome with love and pride. She is my world and makes my day so much brighter. I am excited to hear about your journey and what motherhood has in store for you.
