Today is monumental in the Blodgett household. After 4 1/2 years of living in an off-white cube, we’re finally closing on our very first home. I think I’ll bake a cake.

Adding one of these starry pieces to my home would be a lot more classy than accidentally having Starry Eyed Surprise start playing in front of somebody when my i-Pod is on shuffle. I guess I should make a resolution to delete it.

I don’t so much write down new year’s resolutions (I focus my time on more important lists like top five Parks and Rec episodes) but I do remember resolving in 2011 to simply make more. And that I did. Here are five of my fave projects from last year.

Today I’m admiring these photos from Caroline Hancox, available in her Etsy shop Ribbon Squirrel. Wouldn’t the foggy mountain one look fantastic printed large scale and hung above a bed? Called it.

Apologies for the prolonged break. I’m sitting in a sea of moving boxes and another sea of Alt Summit tasks but things are pretty fantastic. Speaking of Alt Summit, who’s headed to the beehive state in a couple of weeks? I kind of can’t wait.
