I love this cheery color and pattern from artist Lara Harwood. Admiring them is like a strong dosage of summer, much needed during the slump I’m currently feeling. Hashtag: i hate winter.

I am with you– dreaming of summer, and these are perfect inspiration. A few of them remind me of confetti, which is so fun! Down with winter!!
I love how cheery these are!
Oh. SO TIRED of winter right about now!! I love the dotty universe.
Wait a second, isn’t Colorado supposed to have like 380 days of sunlight a year? I’m just poking fun because we Seattlites like to complain so much about our long, gray, dreary winter and think that everyone has it worse than us Love the patterns!
I love winter so much. It makes me sad that most people don’t appreciate it! Of course, winter in North Carolina is just cold enough to make your nose pink. We don’t have to do much snow shoveling.
Did you look at her sketch books too? Just lovely… even if I love winter more
Oh I love these, the colors are so cheery!
Love the color explosion! Can’t wait to bring out the skirts and dresses – Thanks for the inspiration
Such gorgeous colors–I’m plotting our new office space right now, and these are so inspiring!
I love the second one! Cheery indeed
The best word to describe these prints is “cheerful.” And I love it!
Down with winter! I’m in Texas and I still complain about cold!
I just want to eat a handful of sprinkles now. I love this so bad <3
So, so pretty! We’re looking for a piece for our new living room wall and I like the looks of these–so much color.
Any Denver blogger meetups soon?!

Oooh, I LOVE these, especially the one called “Rhyme and Reason.” They make me think of really color-saturated tissue paper, which isn’t surprising considering I teach 2nd grade and it’s Valentine’s week. I’ve been elbows deep in Elmer’s, glitter, and tissue paper scraps all week. Nothing we made was as pretty as those, though!
I also love her horse– would be cute in a little boy’s room. http://www.laraharwood.co.uk/works/prints/screenprints/mini-prints/01-YeeHah-2011
oh my gosh. These are too good! She is my fave, too – thanks for sharing
I love bright neons colours right now… these prints are just perfect!
definitely bookmarking this for future color inspiration. love it.
LOVE the colors..is this a blanket or fabric?? I want it so badly!
I saw these years ago. The artist does not seem to have moved on. I find this work too commercial especially in a recesssion.
