a necklace making workshop is my fave

August 12, 2013

Last week I co-hosted (with the lovely ladies of Anthropologie) a necklace making workshop. The crafting crowd was delightful, the food spread tasty, and the final results were every day wear worthy. Here are some snaps from the night.

The wooden beads were painted with acrylic paints (two coats looked best) then strung with a strip (about 1/2″ rolled) of stretch jersey fabric cut from old t-shirts. They take less than an hour to put together and can easily be crafted by kids or adults alike. I loved the results!

Thank you Anthropologie and all the ladies who came out to craft it up.
