a striped candy jar is my fave

Of all the products from the Martha Stewart Crafts line, I definitely use the paints the most. You can’t beat the range of colors. This month I got to try out the glass paints and created this easy striped candy jar that would work well for a neighborly gift.

Supplies:
glass storage container
Martha Stewart Crafts Glass Paint
Martha Stewart Crafts Stencil Tape
– paint brush

To make your own, tape off where you’d like the stripes on the jar just like you would if you were painting a wall. If you want to trim down your tape so there’s less space between the stripes, use a ruler and rotary cutter to create a straight line. Paint straight onto the glass (a couple coats) and let dry completely before pulling off the tape carefully. Fill with a treat and make someone happy.
