Maybe this is a cure for my unfortunate popcorn ceilings. It would feel like we were always at a party. A kind of lame party with cool decorations.

I am glad you are back.
The cure to my unfortunate popcorn ceilings occurred when I was in Tokyo last year and my second floor toilet cracked and the main floor ceiling fell in. Best thing that ever happened - smooth ceilings and pot lights!
Love, love, love the last pic. Those colors are amazing!
Getting rid of popcorn ceilings isn't difficult. You can basically spray an area with water and scrape the popcorn off. You can then sand and repaint.
It is MESSY though so lay drop cloths and have a large piece of cardboard (a shirt box, perhaps) in your free hand to catch the droppings.
Hilarious, I hate my popcorn ceilings too. Too bad I don't have an upstairs toilet... I might consider cracking it on purpose.
I love these! How can I convince my husband it would be a good idea?
i love all these tissue paper pom poms and lanterns!
I love these, the colors are so gorgeous.
Hope you are doing well, my dear!
This makes me want to have a party! I love the colors...
Fabulous, I love those!
This is a great use for the poms I have leftover from a party! Love that middle picture :)
Popcorn ceilings are tied for my biggest design pet peeve! (Tied with mini-blinds ... shudder)
these are so fun! I love the second image best. totally beat popcorn ceilings (luckily my apartment doesn't have any of those, but my parents' house sure does!)
I love these! I just redid a corner of my room with a bunch of paper streamers and Christmas lights and these would fit in very nicely.
What a great idea.
what a pretty pretty palette. the colors are simply divine.
oh, what a perfect idea for a crappy student apartment! now to make all those poms..
festive. love it. xo.
I love the first one. So beautiful!
These pictures are so lovely! I wuold like to have the same at my place! Thank you!
They are all about this in my real living (australian) magazine! I showed Tyler and he (to my surprise) loved it! Lucky!
Glad to have you back. I hope everything's okay! It's always lovely to see all the pretty things you post on your blog like... I love these lanterns. They remind me of the mid-autumn festival in Singapore where people carry chinese lanterns for fun. I'm gonna try make some of those lovely flowers up there in your later post:)
whoaaa...its lovely!
