The second installment for in the box is wrapped in a striped scarf for the francophile in your life. Tip: when packaging this up, buy extra macarons so your friend isn’t wondering why several of them have bite marks.
Paris stamp set from Yellow Owl Workshop, Paris Versus New York, French card set from Rifle Paper Co
What a lovely idea! Yes, those macarons look to die for 🙂
my goodness, where do you find all of these adorable things?! i love this idea.
That box is awesomesauce.
What a great idea! Now you have me brainstorming what I could put into a Dublin box! There’s not nearly as many well-designed Dublin bits out there. Must change that! So sweet to wrap it in stripes as well!
obsessed with everything in this- especially those cute little rifle cards!
This is fantastic! I just sent a box of goodies to my sister that contained a bag of dark chocolate vanilla caramels from Trader Joe’s and it took all of my self restraint not to eat them before sending. (It’s not like she would have known, right?)
this is darling.
Paris anything is my fave!
Love this 😉
I’m in love w/ all things Paris. That city is on my Bucket List that I must see one day!! =)

I’m no francophile but I’m totally in love with this. Can’t wait to see more ‘in a box’ posts!
Love love love this idea!!!!!!
J’adore this box! I so wish I were headed to Paris to get rid of this persistent case of the late winter blahs…
This series is so fun! I’d love to see an ‘off to camp’ box. My 11 year old is heading off to sleep-away camp this summer & it would be fun to put something together for her.
Tres mignon! I’d love to find this box of loveliness on my doorstep any day 🙂
oooooo !love! i actually just got back from mexico and was putting together a “mexico in a box” for my grandmother since I always remembered your parties in a box – so glad to see you do destinations too! i’ll have to send over the pics once i get them snapped!
you should really compile all your “in the box” creations into a book….i think it would be great.
thank you for being so creative.
Très chic. Love this box series.
Loved it! So very much!
I love this series so much! I like sha’s comment about making this into a book. So please do that. And don’t think I didn’t forget about you opening that party shop! You better get going on all this, it sounds like lots of work.
i love it and i love this series! can’t wait for the olympics edition this summer!
How impossibly perfect!
I also love the idea of turning this series into a book! Now you know how, thanks to ALT. Love everything about this, but especially the baguette that makes a few appearances…
I want the “Bon Voyage” card and the “Paris vs. New York” book (I wonder who wins??). 🙂
Greatest box ever.
I want this box!! But I should be a wonderful friend and send it to my best friend who is going to Paris in a couple of weeks for her 1st wedding anniversary…this would be perfect!
really, really adorable. one of my fave places in the world.
“in the box” is a great series, and i’m thirding the idea for a book or maybe a standalone site. so many possibilities for this idea, and so much room for reader personalization. it would be cool to do “(year)in a box” or “(decade) in a box” for birthdays or anniversaries. it would be fun to hunt down things that were reminiscent of a time or era in someone’s life…
hope you and baby blodgett are doing well!
I’m gonna love every installment of this series!!
I’ve lived for 9 years in Belgium right next to France. And I didn’t visit Paris! I know! It’s a shame and I regret it so much. Well I was still young, only 16 when we returned to Hungary but still. Since then I long for Paris “the City of Light”.
This is so cute. I love it!

I love your “In the Box” series. I love anything connected to Paris too. (I even linked to your post today on my blog.) Also, thanks so much for both of your recent classes on ALT. Had a blast today at Content Is King. Fun and inspiring!
These boxes are so fun Melanie. Can’t wait to see more. Thailand in a box? Sweden in a box? I’m not joking, these would be so cool.
Makes me wish our trip to Paris was here faster! Can’t wait till July. Love that scarf.

i love the color palette of this post! happy weekend!
just brilliant and super sweet!
I’ve developed the filthy habit of going to a bakery/cafe duo near home once a weekend to try a different macaron. They’re just so yummy!
This box makes me so happy I feel like tearing up a little. That baguette looks so delicious too!
Thank you for this sweet spread. Is there nothing more perfect than Paris in the Springtime. OR Rifle paper?! Thank you!
