a birthday cake you can send in the mail is my fave

diy happy birthday poster
Sending baked goods in the mail always starts out with good intentions but ends in stale cake. Here’s a way to send a cake, card, and surprise all wrapped into one – no intense saran wrapping skills required.

To make your own you’ll need:
– white poster paper
– Martha Stewart acrylic paint in various colors
– paint brush or small roller
Martha Stewart Crafts glitter
– glue

Paint the cake stripes (a little roller comes in handy here), paint some lines on top for candles, add some drops of glue above the candles and shake the glitter on to mimic the flames. Spell happy birthday out with stickers or hand write.
